Screening and Director Talk

Join the Cisneros Hispanic Leadership Institute, the GW Department of Romance, German and Slavic Languages and Literature, and the UMD Department of English for a movie screening of Singing Our Way To Freedom. 

Filmmaker Paul Espinosa will join us in a conversation about the story of Ramon "Chunky" Sanchez and the inspiring music of the Chicano Movement. 

This is a hybrid event with the option to attend in-person or online. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, seats to attend the event will be limited and masks required. Registration to attend virtually or in-person is required for all attendees. Space is limited!
