Bilingual Creative Writing Workshop

Join the bilingual creative writing workshop with Mexican writer and Visiting Faculty at GWU, Ofelia Montelongo. This workshop aims to start writing stories in any two languages using code-switching. This type of writing makes our stories unique and reveals the authenticity of our characters. Writing experience: all levels.

Ofelia Montelongo is a bilingual writer from Mexico. She has an MBA in Strategic Leadership & an MA in Latin American Literature. Her work has been published in The Rumpus, Latino Book Review, Los Acentos Review, and elsewhere. She currently teaches at The George Washington University and she is a PEN/Faulkner writer in residence, a Macondista & a PEN America Emerging Voices Fellow.
