Registration: Making Sense of Immigration Data
Date and Time: Friday, February 17 at 12:00pm (ET)
Location: Corcoran 104 (725 21st ST, Washington DC 20052)
For over 30 years, TRAC (Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse) at Syracuse University has been obtaining and publishing valuable government data sets obtained through Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and litigation. TRAC is best known for its one-of-a-kind data on the U.S. immigration enforcement system, including asylum cases in court, the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP), and immigration-related prosecutions. Join us for conversation with Dr. Austin Kocher, immigration researcher and assistant professor at TRAC, who will lift the veil on TRAC's behind-the-scenes work.
Please note that this is in-person event only.
